The Scrum Framework can be viewed from different dimensions. This article provides visualization of the People, Scope: Product Backlog, Time: Cadence & Events and Value: Increment aspects.

The Scrum Framework:
Scrum is a lightweight framework that helps people, teams and organizations generate value through adaptive solutions for complex problems. Scrum is founded on empiricism and lean thinking. Successful use of scrum depends on people becoming more proficient in living five values.
Product is a vehicle to deliver value. It has a clear boundary, known stakeholders, well-defined users or customers.
- Scrum Guide
Thus empiricism and 5 scrum values provide strong foundation. Scrum team and stakeholders apply “System Thinking” to the Scrum implementation. Applying System Thinking to the Product and Scrum helps in navigating through the complexity as a whole than in parts.

Product Backlog Dimension:
Product Backlog is a single authoritative source of an emergent, ordered list of what is needed to improve the product.
- Scrum Guide
Thus Stakeholders and the Scrum Team should organize around the product backlog. While everyone collaborates around the product backlog, each role performs specific responsibilities to maintain the product backlog.

People (Team) Dimension:
Interactions between the Scrum Team and Stakeholders are explored in this dimension. Though open and direct communication should be highly promoted, there are distinct responsibilities for each Scrum Team Role.

Time Dimension:
Sprint; fixed length event; acts as a container for the work and the other scrum events; is the heartbeat of the Scrum. Each event in scrum is an opportunity to inspect and adapt Scrum artifacts. Scrum events are designed to provoke change and minimize the meetings not defined in the Scrum.
- Scrum Guide.

Scrum Team operates in a cadence. Cadence plays critical role to achieve predictability and empirical process control. Thus it is important to organize around the Sprint. Following poster captures responsibilities performed by different roles to contribute or operate in the Sprint and participate in the Agile Events.

Value Dimension:
An Increment is a concrete stepping stone toward the Product Goal. Each Increment is additive to all prior Increments and thoroughly verified, ensuring that all Increments work together. In order to provide value, the Increment must be usable. Scrum Team may produce more than 1 increment during the Sprint.
- Scrum Guide

This view throws light on the responsibilities of different roles in converting ideas; backlog items into value.
